Welcome to Kindness Kids Montrose

​Our playgroup provides a safe and fun place for parents and young children to connect with each other and with other families from the local community.
​
It is facilitated by leaders and helpers from our church community, who endeavour to provide a caring and nurturing environment for each person who attends.
Each week we offer a range of different activities, including play dough, music, story time, painting, dressing up and outdoor play.  Our program follows Victorian school terms and public holidays, apart from the start and end of the year.

Ignite Kids Ministry

"Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Matthew 19:14)
At Ignite Kids our mission is to empower kids to KNOW Jesus deeply,
to GROW in their personal relationship with Him, and to GO and take
the message of God to others. ​Here's how we do this:
SUNDAY MORNING IGNITE KIDS
​Our Ignite Kids pre-school and primary program runs in conjunction with our 10am Sunday gatherings and has a range of activities to suit all ages from 2 years up.
​
​It is a safe and friendly program that aims to bring God alive in a fun and relevant way. The program runs each Sunday (except some long weekends) with a short break over the January school holiday period.

Youth Ministry

"Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young, but be an example for the believers in your speech, your conduct, your love, faith, and purity." (1 Timothy 4:12)
We are passionate about getting alongside our next generation, helping young people to encounter God and develop lasting friendships with peers and leaders as we journey through life and faith together.  Here are some of the ways we do this:
FRIDAY NIGHT YOUTH


​In partnership with Mt Evelyn Christian Reformed Church, SURGE Youth provides a fun and safe place of belonging for youths from Year 7-12.
The program is run weekly on Friday evening (excluding school holidays).

SUNDAY YOUTH SMALL GROUP

Running fortnightly in conjunction with our
regular 10am Sunday gathering, our Youth Small Group is a relaxed chance for young people
to go deeper, discuss big questions and explore
​the bible, while continuing to develop friendships with peers and leaders.
