This month's prayer focus...
At Montrose Church of Christ we try as best we can to follow the example that Jesus set for us. One way we do this is to pray for those around us. Prayer is simply talking with God.
Sometimes we can't do practical things for those around us, but what we can do is talk to God on their behalf. Our God loves us and wants the best for all people.
This month we are focusing on these topics in our prayers:

This month we are focusing on these topics in our prayers:
1. We pray for peace and resolution in the wars in Gaza and the Ukraine. When people are hurt it's difficult to forgive and ask for forgiveness. We ask that God will help people do just that.
2. We pray for reconciliation with our indigenous neighbours. Give us an understanding of their plight, and wisdom to move forward so that no more deaths in custody occur.
3. In Australia, many families are struggling financially. Costs have escalated enormously in recent times. We pray that struggling families find the support they need - physical, mental and financial.
4. In Montrose, many businesses are struggling financially due to our local road works. We pray that they survive through these times and that the community will support them.
